It's pretty frequent to have shops with English translations that are often quite literal and the "Big-Shop" is no exception.  I took pictures of such things for a Dutch woman, Birgit, that I met in Australia.  I'd take a picture and make up a story behind the picture.  I dunno, seemed like the thing do.
