Will and Cheri arrived at the pass a
little bit before I did. We hung out there for a while and
shared
our feelings (I know that Will won't admit to it...but he
did).
It's really something up here. In all directions it's
beautiful
and the sky and Earth seem to go on forever. Centre Pass
might be
100 meters wide at the top and has towering peaks to on both sides and
off in the distance are other tall peaks and deep valleys. I
figured before we took off, it might be good to have some fun with a
picture.
Starting at the left is Will with the steep, winding descent to the
Spey Valley behind him. To the right of that is the
ascent
to Mt. Memphis and further to the right is the valley where Mt. Memphis
and the Kintail hut are located. Then it's on to some steep
mountain walls and finally on the right is Will with the Spey Valley
behind him once again. These sort of pictures with multiple
occurrences of people in them are
fun to do. I've even done one by myself using my camera's
self-timer. It's a lot easier when you have two other people
to
help.
