It's hard to say exactly how deep the tarn was, my guess was six meters or more, and the sun shining cast moving shadows on the bottom..  The walls to the tarn went straight down to the depths and water was an emerald green that was so clear, you could see every single rock on the bottom.  Those rocks on the left were at least three meters down but it was hard to tell that as they could be seen so clearly.
