Part of the magic of a forest as
wet as this one
is the carpet of mosses that grow. They grow here, there, and
everywhere. Over everything and cover every single tree.
It's one of my favorite environments in the whole world.
I used the word 'verdant' to describe the mosses, as you can
see, that word fits quite well. This moss was present in all
directions and as far as one could see.
On the ascent in the valley there
were these
twisted trunks. I'm not sure what they are, but I liked them.
This particular valley was the only place I saw such things.
